A Fresh and Youthful Nod to Mid-century Modern in Wash Park

This newly rehabbed home, located in the hip Denver neighborhood of Washington Park, needed a little love when homeowners first purchased it. They knew they wanted to brighten it up. The result is a mix and match of lush textures, rich fabrics and beautiful colors all blended together to showcase the couple’s unique style & personality.

Dining Room
The dining room doubles as an office during the day. French doors open the space up to the front patio, flooding it with natural light. Beautiful blue hues repeat in the chairs and drapery fabric.
Living Room
These three custom designed hexagon tables, crafted by a local furniture maker, can be arranged for everything from game night to cocktail parties. The entire wall storage unit is also a bespoke piece, carefully designed to hide the fact that the window is off-center in the room.
Living Room
For a modern twist on an old (and well loved) classic design, a traditional houndstooth pattern in a modern coral color was used. The pops of rich pigment bode well in this otherwise neutral, earthy room.

master bedroom
A cozy nook offers up the perfect spot to sit, kick back and enjoy a book or the beautiful view. The blue/coral/neutral fabric combination ties the entire room design together. Soft fabrics also warm up the space.

The dark blue nightstands are more dynamic and interesting than matching the nightstands to the bed frame. It plays well against the soft textures and patterns in the bedding and wallpaper design, soft yet structured.
